Cesar E.
Private tutor in San Bernardino, CA
Education
I would have to say that Spanish is my first language, the one I learned and used even in my first school years in Peru. I studied German at the University of Cologne in Germany. I studied Education at Santa Rosa college in Cusco, Peru. Then, I received a BA degree in education from Azusa Pacific University in 2003 here in the USA. I received my AA degree in Liberal Arts from Valley College in 2000 in San Bernardino.
Experience
I taught ESL in Lima, Peru for 5 years at elementary and high school levels. I taught English and German at a language institute. I am currently teaching Spanish at an after-school program at Del Rosa Christian School in San Bernardino. I am accepted as a tutor at Apple Tree Learning Center in Highland. In the daytime I am working at REV High School in Redlands as a paraeducator in a classroom of students with special needs and I have been with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools for the past 18 years. I passed the SBCSS-CSEA English/Spanish Translation written examination on December 17,2010 which qualifies me to be a CSEA Bi-Literate Translator. I am a tutor because it helps people to discover the wonder of learning and speaking a new language.

Hobbies
I like to read about people who make a positive difference in this world. I like sports and music. I like to encourage students to find their positive potential for life through learning a new language. Languages can be a bridge to bring people from different cultures and nations together. I see in each student a positive potential of learning (Spanish) since this gives them a feeling of success and an achievement.
