I am currently enrolled at CSUSB's teaching credential program. I received my bachelor's in chemistry in the spring of 2016. Teaching is my passion. I love helping people, understand science and love to see people succeed. The look on people's faces when they finally understand a concept is priceless, and I hope to inspire people to fall in love with science like I did.
Experience
- I have helped friends on campus with chemistry classes I have taken or classes similar to those I have taken. - Chemistry tutor at CSUSB for 2 years - I was able to help my first student pull their grade up from a low 70% to a high 80% in their chemistry class. - I am working on getting my high school teaching credential for chemistry - Relevant chemistry classes: science major; general chemistry (chem 215/216); organic chemistry (chem 321-323); quantitative analysis (chem 345) - Relevant math classes: college algebra (math 110); pre calculus (120), calculus1, 2, and 3 (math 211-213)

Hobbies
My life is fairly centered around my school work right now, but the few moments I have free time I enjoy hiking, playing guitar, hanging out with my friends, reading wonderful books like Harry Potter, and otherwise wasting my time on the internet. Truth be told I really do love working on chemistry problems. I like problem solving, and chemistry is the type of problem solving I understand.
