Private tutor in San Bernardino, CA
Graduate of California State University San Bernardino with a B.S. in Biology/Pre-Medicine and a minor in Chemistry. 3.73 graduating GPA, 35 MCAT score. Currently a graduate student as CSUSB for the Department of Biology, employed in research at CSUSB in the biology department and lab instructor for the CSUSB Biology department.
I work and attend class at the CSUSB campus, and it is therefore easiest for me to tutor CSUSB students, both in respect to my availability, as well as in respect to my knowledge level of the courses being taken by potential students. With this in mind, I am looking to tutor exclusively for CSUSB students looking for help in either Genetics or Chemistry. At the CSUSB campus, I have taken Chem 215/216 [General Chemistry, 221-223 [Organic Chemistry], 345 [Quantitative Chemical Analysis], and 436-438 [Biochemistry]. Tutoring has been something that I have done for over 5 years now at the CSUSB campus. I am able to explain concepts and key ideas to people in ways that are understandable, and meaningful. Tutoring is something I take a lot of pride in.

I enjoy reading, with my favorite book being East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I have always loved watching movies, with some favorites being Disney classics, Star Wars, V for Vendetta, and many others. I am a big sports fan, but I mostly watch football (Philadelphia Eagles) and hockey (Los Angeles Kings). I have recently become more of a TV watcher, with shows such as Dr. Who, the Walking Dead, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother and others catching my interest. I enjoy learning and answering questions about the sciences, which is originally how I became a tutor in the first place.
